It was another victory for Solid SC at City Football Complex on Sunday when they overcame Java Lane SC by 2 – 1 in a stage 11 match of the ongoing Dialog Champions League. T D Wijethunge scored for Solid in the 28th minute. In the second half , S M Ruwansiri scored a goal and equalized for Java Lane. But it was S Gunarupathi who booted the winning goal for Solid in the 81st minute, helping his team to collect three valuable points to step into stage 11 as an unbeaten team in the tournament.

Negombo Youth SC drew with Crystal Palace SC by 2-2 at the Sugathadasa Stadium on Sunday. Negombo youth led 2 -0 until the 69th minute as W S D K Fernando and K R P Fernando scored goals during the first 10 minutes. E I Aba equalized by netting two goals within four minutes after the half time.

Nandimithra SC overcame Saunders SC by 3-1at Kelaniya Football ground on the same day.O D T Tonye scored the first goal for the winners in the 10th minute while four minutes later F B C Sampath netted the second. H J L Perara struck a goal in the in the 24th minute. Tonye scored his second goal four minutes later to seal it a 3-1 victory for his team.

On Saturday at Sri Bodhi Ground in Gampaha, SL Army SC in a one sided game thrashed inexperienced Thihariya Youth SC by 7-1. To utter disappointment for lads from Thihariya, Rajesheron scored an own goal for the soldiers. Issadeen, the Army striker scored five goals including a hat trick. M D M Silva scored a goal as well. Rajesheron in the 83rd minutes scored the solitary goal for Thihariya Youth SC .

SL Police SC had the better of Pelicans SC by 3-0 at their home ground in Bambalapitiya. Police led 1-0 at half time and scored another two goals in the second half. Y. M. Hettiarachchi scored the first goal in the 11th minute and R.P.S.N. Pathirana contributed with two goals.

SL Navy defeated New Youngs SC at the Sugathadasa Stadium by 1-0 on the same day, thanks to an own goal by Y D Piuslas just before the half time. Meanwhile the match between Renown SC and Up Country Lions SC at Jayathilake Stadium ended in favour of Renown by 2 – 0 on Saturday. Mohamed Fazal and M.C. M. Rifnaz scored goals for Renown.
